Summer Sale at Farmer's Market
You can still catch my Sizzling Summer Sale tomorrow July 11th at the Foothill Farmers Market in Old Town Auburn from 8am till noon.
With the purchase of one item you get the second of equal or lessor value for 1/2 off!
Need a cute, vintage inspired gift? I have baby items: bibs, binky clips and onsies. Vintage button bracelets, rings and headbands are available too. Here's a photo of a vintage pillowcase dress for that special little gal in your life. Too much to list so come out and see.
It's a great farmers market for all your yummy locally grown produce too! Weather forecast is looking great at only a high of 82 degrees.
Have a blessed weekend!

Vintage Pillowcase Dresses
sewing and have made two new dresses...so
enjoying the creative process again. These
past few months I just didn't have time to
sew and missed it! I'm a happy girl again...
Love the cowboy print on
this one!
This sweet vintage pillowcase has adorable
embroidery and the bottom edge crocheted
hand work is in excellent condition...this
is a crisp white pillowcase. Can't wait
to see a little girl in this one!

Sacramento and Company TV show!
Oh My Gosh! Things around here have been so exciting lately! First the Sacramento Bee article came out last week, and now I was on TV today - on the Sacramento and Company, Channel 10's morning show for my Warm Hugs Design business. Thanks to Lilly for inviting me to the show and Guy, the host who made me feel so welcomed and relaxed during the segment. All the folks at Sacramento and Company are awesome!
Have so many blessings to be grateful for...

I was in a Sacramento Bee article today!

Warm Hugs Design was featured in an article today and my picture is on the front page of Section D! Niesha Lofing, the article writer meet me a year ago during one of my Foothill Farmers Market Association's farmers market and said she had been waiting for an opportunity to include me in a story. She thought I'd be perfect for this article. It's a wonderful article - so inspiring for crafters especially in this economic time and full of great info. I'm so excited and just wanted to share...

Sunbonnet Sue Vintage Pillowcase Dress

I named this vintage pillowcase dress Sunbonnet Sue. Just so fitting. I repurposed this pillowcase into a little girl's dress. Someone has hand embroidered this little darling. So adorable!
I've included a close up photo so you can see the embroidery. Wish I had time to do embroidery projects like this...
