Vintage Linen and Chenille Bib and Burp Cloth Set
My vintage linen and chenille scraps have been talking to me lately, yes I said talking to me. They want to become something...and most of the time they tell me what they want to be! So, I've been making up baby/toddler bibs and burp cloth sets. Makes a unique and very cute baby shower gift!
This baby bib has vintage yellow chenille on one side with a vintage linen on the other. The toddler bib and the burp cloth has new white flannel on the back side.
The next set has been repurposed from a bed sham (not vintage just really nice fabric) and I've used new white chenille for one side. The burp cloth has a new blue strip flannel on the back - super soft!
I've lined them so they will be super absorbant too! There are either pearl snaps or sewn in old fashioned snaps so you don't have to worry about the little one's hair getting stuck (unlike velcro closures)...
These will be added to my designs for sale at my markets and upcoming craft shows. I also will be adding baby and lap quilts.

These are soooo sweet. The yellow chenille looks so soft and comfy! And how smart not to use velcro! I never thought how it might catch hair, but you are so right! Very clever.
Patricia :o)
Hi Pam! I wanted to reply to a comment you left on my blog, but you have your settings set to not include your email address in your comments. :( Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for your comments!
Hi Evelyn,
I think I fixed that setting now to show my email address... Thanks for letting me know!
That was a really quick comment on my blog, Pam. By the way, did you get to do any farmers markets this summer and how did they go?
Jan I always enjoy meeting people at my markets which are now year round! So I'll continue doing them. Sales have been slow but Christmas shopping is just around the corner and I have some craft show events coming up. Hope your markets have been good for you...
Warm hugs,
Pam
