Stuffed Chenille and Vintage Fabric Bunnies

Here's my first attempt at making stuffed bunnies...one in vintage pink chenille with button eyes and one in blue and pink vintage fabric. I just love this fabric! I ended up taking off the button eyes and hand embroidered on the eyes instead. I worried about the choking hazard of button eyes if given to a youngster. Glad I did as I sold it today to someone who is giving it as a gift to a 2 year old! Next I'm making vintage chenille teddy bears... So fun!

First Fridays at the Fountains Event

I'm so excited to be part of the upcoming summer street fair event First Fridays at the Fountains in Roseville, CA! In the past it has been a well attended venue. I haven't done a night time event yet, so wish me luck! Here's all the details:

First Fridays at Fountains in Roseville, CA. Runs from May through September on the first Friday night of each month from 6:00pm - 10:00pm at the Fountains, a beautiful European style outdoor mall with upscale stores and lovely fountains. First Fridays is a Street Fair that features artisans, crafters, music, a Kids Zone with free activities, Motor Sports Image Group Corvette car club and a beer and wine garden at The Counter. San Francisco street performer “Silverman" will also appear at May’s First Friday as well as other engagements throughout the summer.
