Vintage and New Chenille Baby Quilt

Here's my latest finished project: a sweet vintage chenille mixed with new pink milky and white soft chenille fabric. I've used a vintage bed sheet as the binding and backed it with the super soft white chenille fabric. So snuggly. Now, if only I had a grand child to give it to...

Hi Pam! So nice to meet you. We DO have a lot in common. I love vintage pillowcases and you love making dresses out of them!! This baby quilt is adorable. The fabrics and colors you used are wonderful. I don't think it has to be for a baby, though. A good friend taught me to use them for lap blankets. She always gets the best compliements when she hands them out at BBQ's to help keep guests warm when it's a little nippy or windy.

Nice to meet you too Patricia. That's a great idea - I just may use it as a lap blanket until a grandchild comes along!
Warm hugs,
Pam

Love the chenille! The composition on your item is wonderful. Nice work. I have an old chenille bedspread that I love, its gray and yellow with a wonderful pattern.

Hello Violets new Vintage and thank you. I love vintage chenille but it is so hard to find. Just went to your blog and found out about Toni's Kitty Rescue. Awesome!
