23rd Annual Holiday Craft Fair and Book Sale

Maidu Community Center & Library is holding their annual Holiday Craft Fair and Book Sale this coming Saturday, December 1st from 9am to 4pm in Roseville, CA.

There will be 140 crafters, unique handcrafted items, children's story times, specialty foods and drinks, used book sale, free parking and admission!

My booth will be outside of the Library.  There you will find Christmas items repurposed from vintage linens and the infant vintage Christmas fabric Yo-Yo and button headbands  shown here.  I'm praying for some dry weather...

Update:  due to the rain and wind I have decided not to set up my outside booth. Sorry can find my new items next Saturday at the Foothill Farmer's Market in Old Town Auburn if it's not raining hard.

I still plan on going down to the Maidu Holiday Craft Fair to do some Christmas shopping though - love handmade gifts!

The Maidu building is very beautiful. One of my daughters was married there. Years before, the daughter of a family friend was married there. Something went wrong with the fire alarm. Just as she walked out to go to the front of the building, everyone stood for the bride and the fire alarm sounded! Needless to say, it was very memorable. In spite of that occurance, we were very happy to use the building for our wedding.
