Pillowcase Dress Upcycled from a Vintage Pillowcase

You all know I love vintage linens - so am working on making something from them all the time! Here's my latest vintage pillowcase dress. Does it remind you all of the 70's or what?

VERY cute! It looks pretty "hip" to me. Seems like 70's colors and style are coming back. I love the daisies on this dress. So sweet!

Thanks Patricia. These pillowcase patterns are fun to work with and so soft. I'm making ladies top out of them now too...

Warm hugs,
Pam

Hi Pam,
This little dress reminds me of a pillowcase I just got. I had to double check to make sure it was in good enough condition before I offered it to you, and it is! I'd love to send it to you so you can do your magic on it. Please contact me at VintageLinenTreasures@yahoo.com

Thanks Selina - my 89 year old mother-in-law made it back in the 70's. It is called a Cathedral Window quilt and is done entirely by hand. She put whimsical little things in many of the block centers - like cats, ducks, flower...it's a very special quilt!
